Description of Work: Baptism team members, in teams of two, visit families who have babies for baptism.  This visit is to welcome the baby into the parish and explain the baptismal ceremony to the family and its importance.

Time commitment involved:  On duty for a fortnight at a time, four times a year.  Visits last about 30 minutes.  Team meetings four times a year.  The group participates in the annual baptismal service with all families.

Any special skills or talents required:  Comfortable visiting families and happy to talk about baptism.  (An information pack and training are provided).
