Funerals Arrangements
To arrange a funeral ceremony, please contact any of the priests.
Baptism Arrangements
BAPTISMS: Every Sunday from 12 noon and the first Saturday of every month. To book, contact the Parish Office at 9131135 on Fridays between 10 am and 12.30 pm or by email at stranorlarparish@gmail.com. (Please give two weeks notice.) The baptism teams are available to visit families before the baptism.

Marriage Arrangements

Confirmation
Confirmation is celebrated each year in our parish. Confirmation 2025: the Sacrament of Confirmation for the children of the parish will take place on Saturday 3rd May. This is now delegated to the local pastors pending the appointment of a Bishop to the diocese.

Eucharist and First Communion
First Holy Communion 2025: The 2nd class children from St. Mary’s N.S. will receive their First Holy Communion on Saturday, May 10th, at 11.30 am.
The 2nd class children from Dooish N.S., Robertson N.S. and Welchtown N.S. will receive their First Holy Communion on Saturday, 17th May, at 11.30 am. A programme of preparation takes place throughout the year.

Reconciliation (Confession)
Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) takes place:
Each Saturday, 12 noon to 1.00 pm and 5.15 pm to 5.45 pm.

Housebound and Sacrament of the Sick
The priests visit the housebound with Holy Communion on the Tuesday and Wednesday after the first Friday of the month. If you cannot attend Mass due to illness or frailty and would like to be visited by a priest, please feel free to contact the priests.
